Prof. Gehad ElGazali is a Senior Consultant and Service Lead Immunologist at Sheikh Khalifa Medical City (SKMC) in Abu Dhabi in the UAE. He is a Professor of Clinical Immunology (since January 2011). He received his MD from Faculty of Medicine, University of Khartoum, Sudan (1987) and his PhD in Immunology from Institute of Immunology, Stockholm University, Sweden (1999).

Prof. Gehad is a member of the Swedish Board of Clinical Immunology (2003), Diplomat – American Board of ML Immunology (2008) and ASHI Clinical Director – A(ACHI) (2011).

Prof. Gehad is currently teaching basic and clinical immunology to resident doctors on grand rounds and on group discussions, for those planning for the clinical board examinations, in Sheikh Khalifa Medical City (7-9 hours/year) and in two rheumatology fellowship programs (ACGME accredited programs).
