Dr. Afra Al Dhaheri has a Rheumatology fellowship from the Royal College of Physicians of Ireland. She also completed a clinical fellowship in Systematic lupus erythematosus from the University of Toronto.

She has eight years’ experience in Internal Medicine and five years’ experience in Rheumatology.

Her main interest is treating and managing systemic lupus erythematousis. She also has vast experience in treating inflammatory joint diseases in adults, like rheumatoid arthritis, spondyloarthritis (e.g. ankylosing spondylitis and arthritis associated with inflammatory bowel disease), and other autoimmune connective tissue disease such as SLE (Systemic Lupus Erythematosus), Sjogren’s syndrome, scleroderma, polymyositis and dermatomyositis, and crystal induced arthritis like gout and other rheumatic diseases.
