Prof. Federico Alberici is a Nephrologist with an interest in immune mediated diseases with and without kidney involvement. He graduated and trained as Nephrologist in Parma (Italy), he then spent three years as Clinical Research Associate at the University of Cambridge (UK) where he focused his clinical and scientific activities on ANCA associated vasculitis. After four years as Consultant of the Immunology Clinic at the San Carlo Borromeo Hospital of Milano (Italy), he is since January 2020 Associate Professor at the University of Brescia (Italy), since March 2022 Director of the Speciality School in Nephrology, University of Brescia and since November 2022 Director of the Nephrology Unit of the Spedali Civili Hospital of Brescia.

He is Author or co-Author of more than 90 manuscripts published on international journals (overall citations 3022, Hirsch index 29) and he has been invited speaker at several congresses including the annual meetings of the Italian Society of Nephrology, of the European Renal Association and of the American Society of Nephrology.
