Dr Anbar graduated from the Faculty of Medicine at Kuwait University, and then moved to Canada where she completed her Internal Medicine residency at Queens University. She followed this with a Rheumatology fellowship, as well as an additional clinical fellowship in Spondylitis at the University of Toronto. She has a special interest in medical education, has won several teaching excellence awards and is the Kuwaiti Board of Internal Medicine Site Director (KBIM) for Jaber Hospital.
